As a Hatton Scholar, she earned her BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Durham University, studying under renowned artists Richard Hamilton and Victor Passmore. Her expertise and dedication to art have led her to become a celebrated painter, with works exhibited in Sydney and Newcastle and housed in private collections worldwide. Magie’s passion for art extends beyond her own creations. She has authored and designed several books on stencils, sharing her knowledge and techniques with a broader audience. Her extensive teaching career includes positions at prestigious institutions such as William Grimshaw, Haberdashers’ Aske’s in London, and Gloucestershire College of Art. Additionally, she has lectured at Hornsey College of Art and taught paint finishes at Sydney Community College. With a wealth of experience in both creating and teaching art, Magie now channels her passion into founding a coloring website for kids.
